What are synthetic cannabinoids?

Synthetic cannabinoids are human-made chemicals for mind-altering effects that are either sprayed on shredded, dried plant material to be smoked or sold in the form of liquid to be vaporized, or inhaled in e-cigarettes and some other devices. Synthetic cannabinoid drugs are known as herbal or liquid scents. However, these chemicals are known as cannabinoids because their effects are similar to chemicals seen in the marijuana plant. Due to this similarity, synthetic cannabinoids are often misleadingly known as synthetic marijuana, thus they are often sold as legal alternatives to that drug. However, these drugs are not safe and may influence the brain much more strongly than marijuana.

How synthetic cannabinoids are used?

The most common way to use these synthetic cannabinoids is to inhale or smoke the dried plant material. Some users also blend the sprayed material with marijuana or some brew it as tea. Apart from this, other users purchase synthetic cannabinoid derivatives as liquids to vaporize in e-cigarettes.
